How do I list storage items by file size?

On the xbox 360 there was a menu option where I could list all the various items on the hard drive by file size.

This was very useful when trying to clear space for new games, as I could see where there were individual games or DLC packages that were taking up large amounts of space, thereby being able to clear big chunks while only deleting one or two files.

I can't seem to find any way to do that on the xbox one. I'm guessing, since the xbox one is newer than the 360, that we don't want to consider the xbox one to be a downgrade from the 360 in terms of features.

So, please let me know how I can sort and list all the storage drive items by file size on xbox one. If that feature hasn't been brought forward yet, please let me know what date the community might expect that feature to be rolled out as an update.

Sorry about the delay. Let's try deleting the game, then your Marketplace System Data file, and then redownload the game. What this will do, is pull a fresh version of the game from our the Xbox Live servers.

Here is how to delete the Marketplace System Data file:

1. On your console, go to settings, and then select System.
2. Select Storage, and then select your primary storage device.
3. Select System Items.
4. Select Marketplace System Data.
5. Select Delete.
6. Restart your console.
7. Try to buy or download the item again.

I have a possible solution I would like you to try.

First, let's go ahead and delete the Marketplace System Data File. What this will do, is delete the cached download files specific to your Marketplace. To do this, follow the steps below.

1. On your console, go to settings, and then select System.
2. Select Storage, and then select your storage device.
3. Select System Items.
4. Select Marketplace System Data.
5. Select Delete.
6. Restart your console.
7. Go back to your Download History and try downloading the item again.

I'm not in front of my console right now but please try going into into My Games & Apps then select either games or apps and it should be located in the sort by menu located in the top left of the screen.

 

To expand on gds1972 answer, go into the My Games and Apps section, and select Sort by size from the drop down menu at the top of the screen. You can do this on both your games and your apps sections to see the size and sort by the size of the apps and games
