How do I link my PlayStation account onto Minecraft?

Start by opening Minecraft on your PlayStation and wait for the sign-in screen. It should give you a code and a link to visit:

Try logging in with any Microsoft accounts you’ve used before—school accounts, older email addresses, even throwaway ones. If the sign-in works and links, that’s the account your PSN is tied to.

If you think you’ve found the right Microsoft account, go to https://www.minecraft.net/login, sign in, and check your profile settings. Look for any indication of linked services like PlayStation Network. If nothing shows up, try other accounts you might have forgotten about.

If you’ve gone through all your Microsoft accounts and still can’t find the right one, unfortunately, you won’t be able to unlink it from your current PSN account. The only way to play Minecraft with a new Microsoft account is to create a new user profile on your PlayStation, then link that to the Microsoft account you want to use. If none of that works or you're completely locked out, head to https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/requests/new and submit a request.

Select “Minecraft for PlayStation” and then “Account Linking Issue.”

I had to go onto my Microsoft account, link it to an Xbox account and create a Xbox gamertag. Then I restarted Minecraft on my Playstation and it let me log in!

I am having the same problem he is. I am trying to connect my Xbox one minecraft account to my new PlayStation 5 account and it is saying the account is already connected to a PlayStation network account when I have never even owned a PlayStation. How do I unlink the account? And how would I know what account is even linked?

Unfortunetally, with how everything was set up between PlayStation and Microsoft, only one account can be linked to a PlayStation account. This means that when you unlink an account from your PlayStation account, it won't allow you to link another Microsoft account to the PSN account.

You will need to create a new PSN account on your PlayStation and game share your content to other accounts on your PlayStation. Then link your new PSN account to your new Microsoft account.

Microsoft owns Minecraft. Therefore, a Microsoft account is required to play the game.

If you want to play with friends on different platforms or join Realms on Minecraft for PlayStation, you will need to link a Microsoft account to your PlayStation Network (PSN) account. Here is how to do that.

How to connect your Microsoft account to PlayStation in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition

Launch Minecraft on your PlayStation.

Select Sign in with a Microsoft account on the title screen.

Visit the code redemption site on a browser.

Input the code that your game is displaying.

Sign in to the Microsoft account you want associated with your PlayStation account.

Note: only one Microsoft account can be associated with any PlayStation account at any one time. If the account you are trying to sign into has already been linked, you will need to use a different one.
