How do I link my Microsoft account to my PS4 account?

You can only link your Microsoft account to a PS4 account if you are playing Minecraft. If you are playing that game, follow the steps below.

On the Minecraft game home screen, click Sign in with a Microsoft account.
Follow the instructions on the page to go to http://aka.ms/remoteconnect, enter the unique 8-digit code, and complete your login.

Does this work for Minecraft only or will it also work for other games like GTA5, 2K, etc?

I'm sorry, this only works for Minecraft.

I'm very sorry to say that you can use your Microsoft account for Minecraft Bedrock edition to play across platforms, however the game itself must be bought separately on a platform like PlayStation 4 , you want to play it.
