How do I keep my WiFi Nat type as open ?

it is constantly saying the Xbox can’t get a teredo IP address, sometimes it’ll say the Nat type is open but I won’t be able to join a party or play online, when I plug my WiFi extender In my mbps drop from 60-70 to 15 or lower but my nat type will be open I’m getting tired of trying to fix this issue can anyone help all the other forms don’t fix it

Wifi Extenders have the same problems as normal wifi and often underpowered in terms of speed or broadcast ability

That's why mesh systems have replaced them

If you don't want to upgrade to a mesh system, powerline networking will likely do much better for you

This occurs mostly due to NAT type.

Edit: just double checked my nat and it still says open.

I have a NAT Setting on my router but it is set to on? When I have it on automatic my NAT type stays open. I don't know why DMZ won't keep my NAT type open.

So what can I do to fix my problem of my ports randomly changing and if possible, keep my nat type open?

First you have to open all ports on your router. Then you should test the Nat-type connection on your Xbox. It should work now. The wifi information should now read: Nat type open
