How do I just install the java installation pack?

I bought the java edition on my laptop under my Mojang account thats' now connected to this Mircosoft account before the switch to the Microsoft sign-in. I don't own the bedrock java bundle or the bedrock version. I was trying to download the java edition, but when i go on to the Minecraft site, and go to get Minecraft, and then click on the PC option, it only gives me the option to buy the java and bedrock bundle, and I just want to install java on my computer again.

I suggest that you download the Minecraft Launcher instead through this link https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download

When i try to install the data pack 2 it says installation stopped how do i fix this?

you only need/are prompted to install the sound pack if you play game off the disc. If you have the game installed then the soundpack installs with it.

I have installed Java, and I have uninstalled and then installed again Minecraft Launcher, and Java(i think), basically thats its, Im still kinda newbie when it comes to computers so i dont know what should i do. I also have the latest version of Java.

Edit: just to confrim, when i have java i also have jdk right?
