    How do I host for Gears of War 1


    I'm trying to host a ranked versus match for Gears 1 but I can't invite anyone for some reason, I tried inviting through Xbox 360 dashboard and Xbox one backwards compatibility. Any help please?

    Sorry to hear it. In order for others to receive your invites they would need to be playing on a 360 or on Backwards Compatible games. If you are inviting those on the Xbox One then you would need to send them an Xbox One message inviting them to play

    Gears 1 multiplayer beats out 2 and 3.

    Gears of War 1's way of finding/joining matches was better but the host had too much of an advantage.

    gears of war one has not lost online you have always been able host own ranked matches i can help as i can play online on all gears 1 throu to gears 3.

    As someone who has played Gears of War 1 longer than most people, surely in the top 10% of all people for play time I can say that the Gears 3 shotgun is perfect. Gears 1 Gnasher was way to strong and fast and don't get me started on the host. Gears 2 Gnasher
    was all sorts of fail until they fixed it after ten billion patches. Gears 3 Gnasher is how it should have been at the start, not too strong that it makes other weapons useless like in Gears 1 but not to horrible so that it makes no sense to use it like in
    Gears 2.
