How do I hook up the ATX power supply to the XBox One?

    How do I hook up the ATX power supply to the XBox One?


    I have Bought XBox One from the US and now I would like to use it in Europe. As far as I know, XBox One adapters are single voltage operating adapters. Knowing that No one can Source an EU XBox one adapter from Microsoft, So I have the only option to use
    Chinese Knockoffs which are underpowered.

    Microsoft US Voltage AC Adapter Specifications: Input: AC 100~127V 4.91A 50/60Hz Output: DC 12V 17.9A (215W), 5Vsb 1.0A

    Chinese Dual Voltage AC Adapter Specifications: Input: AC 100~240V 2A, 47~63Hz Output: DC 12V 10.83A (130W), 5Vsb 1.0A

    My Question - Is it correct to combine 2 underpowered adapters. I will be wired up in parallel, to create full one powered source. Can I do that? Is there any RIsk? Or Is there any Other Option available?

    I am guessing and there seems to be some hope that Knockoff will word as Glinkster has tested the draw from an XBox One and found that it only pulls 119W max, and as low as 69W oppositely.

    If I can go by that way then,

    How do I pin up the ATX power supply to the XBox One's two-prong connector?

    EU Plug AC Adapter Power Supply for Xbox One

    (1) Should I bundle multiple ATX +12V wires together or can I use just a single wire?

    (2) I assume that ATX +5VSB amps, being double the XBox One adapter, is ok to use?

    (3) I'm making an assumption that the XBox's dual prong plug needs +5V and ground on one prong, and +12V and ground on the other.

    No signal from HDMI - handshake broken

    one question when you had the xbox hook up before and it was working fine how did you have the power supply hooked up? meaning did you have bothe tv and console plugged in a power strip or directly into a receptical ?

    Xbox one turn on then it turns off

    I'm going through the same thing. Took the console to GameStop, where they had power supply I could hook up to.

    Same issue, orange light, flashes white for a second then back to orange. Console will not power on...

    For me it's not the power supply...

    Ye go ahead, rip apart your shoddy knock off power supplies and wire them together in parallel, what's the worst that could happen other than frying your Xbox, going up in flames or possibly even electrocuting you?

    If you hadn't guessed I was being slightly sarcastic.

    Why are your only options direct from Microsoft or Chinese knockoffs?

    Try your local Facebook selling sites, go to your local game shops to see if they have any. You seem to be going from one extreme to the other when there is plenty of space in between.

    I would suggest you go and buy an original xbox one power supply from the store or may be borrow one from your friend if you want your xbox to run normally. I totally agree with @Shaggy2000.. your life is more important bro! Peace out!

    I have not had any of those issues. I can go from app to app and game to game without any freezes or crashes. In fact, I haven't had to do the hard reset in 3 months.

    One of the major factors that causes system instability isn't related to the console itself, it is how users have hooked up their console to the power. Many users (Americans especially) insist on hooking their console to the power via a surge protector. Problem
    is, the Xbox One already has a surge protector built in to the power supply brick. Any further surge protection causes power issues. These can manifest in several ways, but many are just like the ones you describe.
