    Unfortunately, you cant gift preorders from the Microsoft Store. You would need to wait till the game releases before you can gift it to them or you can preorder the game from a 3rd party like Amazon and send it to them.

    I just hate how I can pre-order madden 15 on the MS store and it comes with a $10 gift card, but if I pre-order it through my xbox one its the same price without the gift card. Pre-orders should just be $49.99 then without the GC

    If I preorder a game and gift it after it releases, will the recipient receive the preorder bonuses?

    Typically pre-orders aren't eligible for gifting. So it would be tied to your account and you wouldn't be able to gift it. You'd want to make sure it has the option to buy as a gift before doing so. Otherwise, if you gift it after it's been released, they will not receive the pre-order bonuses.
