how do I get xbox off my new laptop (uninstall doesn't)

Unfortunately, there is no way to uninstall the app as it is an integral part of the Windows 10 OS.

With the introduction of play anywhere games and the cross platform integration this is a necessary feature.

i'm sorry but the xbox Game Bar is a system app, if you dont want any notifications from it just log out of the Xbox Game Bar. Otherwise i can not help you sorry.

xbox/office/windows are all integrated, they are one service from microsoft, they cannot be split apart, windows 10 is a service not like old windows. technically windows 10 is free to obtain.

basically they are part of the system and will remain that way, they don't use space or resources. if you remove them they will be reinstalled on the next update.

you agree to the terms of use when signing into windows 10.

if you really want rid of it then i suggest changing OS.

I don't really suggest you on deleting the Xbox App :/ It doesn't consume that much of Megabytes and can be hidden too!

Hello! You can uninstall the applications by means of commands in PowerShell. To perform this process, open the Start menu, type PowerShell and click secondary and run the application as Administrator.

Depending on the application you wish to uninstall, the command is found after the colon
