How do i get the crossplatform to show on my fortnite settings?

Ok, so i recently bought a Fortnite Starter Pack but it didnt show up in my xbox or my Fortnite account. I already connected my xbox to my fortnite account as well. Does anyone know how to fix this?

As of right now child accounts are unable to play cross platform on Fortnite. You can contact Epic Games for more information here

Fortnite Support Center. You can get on any adult account and be able to access those settings. This is something that is being looked into and more information will be released as soon as it is available.

You cannot change a child account to an adult account until the birthdate that you originally entered turns 18. You cannot change that birthdate at all.

 

If the account got deleted and new on created would that work?

Indeed. You can make a new account as an adult and that will work.

Only thing I would like to remind you about is that creating a new account you're starting over again it's an account with no progress.

 

Hey there, to access cross-platform you'll need to link your Epic account to Xbox Live. You will also have to have a friend who's not on Xbox to enable the cross-platform servers!

We are aware of this issue. It was put in intentionally due to Microsoft wanting the parent account to be allowed to manage the option for cross platform play or not. Unfortunately, it taking longer than
expected to add it to the settings for parents to manage. We expect an update on this situation soon.

Hello Realm,

The setting need to change is in the game settings not on the Xbox console. If you are in the lobby hit the start or menu button you will see a list come up. go to settings then select cross play and turn on.
