how do I get rid of spammers

So lately I've been seeing this one guy posting on looking for group posts and it's just him posting saying "look at my Instagram" and honestly it's kinda annoying he has 3-4 separate accounts posting it all at the same time until Saturday and I'm wondering how I can get this guy to stop so I can use the looking for groups half or most of the posts are him spamming it over and over any way I can deal with this because I've been reporting and spamming the **** out of "spam or advertising" but it don't do anything it stays up until he posts another one

Hello Hanska. I have had similar issues in the past. The only way I found was changing privacy settings for messages. Now every time I receive a message from someone I don’t know, it’s appears as a message request. I’ll provided a link that will give you a step by step to change the settings.

Every time they find a way to get rid of them the spammers change their approach and it all starts over again. It is a never ending process.

thanks ill do that tomorrow. i guess there is no fix for the mass amount of spammers friending me and messaging me but atleast there is a solution to one of the three. microsoft needs to get rid of this friend system and go back to the xbox 360 ways.

I know how you all can settle this. Forum tourney, spammers versus the honor code. If your as good as you say you are, you can get around spammers NO problem. Even without a teleport. Spamming is in EVERY fighting game ever, and always will be. SO, do you
sit and just complain about it? Or do you learn how to get around it so you can embarrass them? I choose the latter.

Spammers are easy to get around, if you get killed by Scorpion's hellfire over and over that is your OWN fault.

What makes you think the spammers are not being banned too?

How often do you get the spam from the same account?

The spammers use fake silver accounts and are banned as quick as anyone else when caught.

The only problem is they just create another account and continue spamming.

Sending offensive messages to anyone on live will get you a ban, no matter if you are responding to spammers or not.
