How do I get my xbox one to install my xbox 360 game from xbox 360 game disc?

When I put my xbox 360 game disc in my xbox one, the xbox one start to read it but xbox 360 game disc being spinning by my xbox one. It work but it won't install it.

Thanks, I have been redeeming Xbox 360 games on my Xbox 360 to then install on my Xbox One. Do you know how Game Sharing works on Xbox? Can I share BC games from my Xbox One to a friends Xbox 360?.

Some further information.

I installed the game on my XBOX 360 to see what was supposed to happen.

On XBOX 360 you still get the same microsoft store wanting money for the DLC if you only install and play disc 1.

On XBOX 360 if you insert disc 2 it lets you run the expansion installer.

On XBOX One inserting disc 2 simply sets the game running, exactly as if you had inserted disc one, with no option to run the expansion installer.

Unfortunately i have the xbox one s all digital edition, this does not have a disc drive, therefore i cannot use the disc copies i have. The games are installed on my xbox 360 from disc, and i was wondering if they could be installed on my xbox one and be
played without use of the discs?

if it is on the backward compat list then when you insert the disc it should then download the game over the internet as it only uses the disc for authentication, it does not transfer any data from the disc.
