    How do I get my Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller replaced?


    Here's the deal: I bought and activated an Elite Series 2 controller in March, and it's still under warranty. One of the bumpers has stopped working, and I've been scouring Microsoft's website, and others, trying to figure out how to get it preferably replaced,
    or repaired. (this might be long, but it's only because I want to be as clear as possible about the situation).

    I'm beyond frustrated, because no matter what I try on Microsoft's site, it will NOT allow me to submit any type of repair request. If I visit the "Request an Xbox controller replacement" page and I type in the serial number for my controller, it says it's
    not under warranty and that I need to buy a new controller... even though it IS still under warranty (every other page says so, plus I've had it for less than a year).

    If I go to the "Device service and repair" page and click my registered controller, then click "start service online", I click device for category and put in bumper issue in the issue type box, only for the page to stop my order right there with text that
    says "We can't continue this order. For assistance, contact us". I can't continue with the service repair request because of this.

    And finally, the grand finale. I go to the "Contact us" page on Xbox Support hoping to just call and get the issue sorted out. Unfortunately, Xbox Support will not provide any sort of phone number unless you fill in a box about the issue you're having. So,
    I click "contact us". Under "what are you having trouble with?" I select "hardware & network". Under "what's the issue?", I have tried: "my controller isn't working right", "warranty, service, & repair", and "my accessory isn't working right". After any of
    these, the site will tell me "Phone calls and chats aren't available for this issue", and refer me back to a virtual assistant or recommend I start a web chat with another Xbox gamer.

    This website, no matter how many pages I try, is having me running in circles- and I can't even call Xbox support for help because the site refuses to provide me with a number.

    If anyone can help me out here at all, it would be seriously appreciated. All I want is to have my Elite controller repaired or replaced.

    Microsoft knew the controllers were defective and still sold them as a good product. they wont do anything to fix your controller because its most like out of warranty thats why the warranty was so short. The whole elite series 2 was a scam

    I would like to get this controller repaired but I can only find ways to get a replacement. This is a xbox design lab controller so idk if they're gonna replace it, plus the serial number didnt show up when I punched it in.     my standard Xbox one S white controller is still going strong after a good year so far. i also have a standard sky blue Xbox one controller which still going strong. there were some elite series 2 controllers which had a manufacturing problem but Xbox are
    replacing those in warranty if they have the problem. overall the elite series 2 is a good controller.

    if you purchase from a third party source i would recommend getting cover with it so if anything goes wrong you can replace it for free.
