How do I get my Xbox 360 discs to work on my Xbox one?

Here are two more things you can try:

1) Another factory reset, this time removing everything.

2) Download one of these games from the Xbox mobile app, insert its disc and see if your console allows you to play it. I'm not sure to which extent your console is not detecting these discs, but I still think it might be worth a try.

Do you know if your console is still under warranty? if your console is under warranty, repairs would be free of cost. Xbox consoles typically have a warranty period of 1 year after purchase although this may vary depending on where you live.

I have insider and played a game from insider so I think

Can you try the disks in another console? It could be that they’re the problem

One thing to remember is that Xbox discs read from the outside in, so a small fingerprint, smudge, or physical damage on the edge can affect the ability to read the disk

I'm using an Xbox one s if that's what you're wondering, I have nothing plugged into it besides my controller, I don't know how to verify if it's up to date, I held my Xbox power button for 10 seconds, those were the only things that I saw I could do, I didn't know I could do anything else

So I was able to download it through the Xbox mobile app but now it just says insert disc even though I already did
