    I just had a response from xbox support saying that they are doing the exchange and i am not sure if i have to wait for another email from them for the label or have they forgotten to give it to me.

    You need to pack the controller in a box, print the shipping label (if you haven't received it yet, you will receive it within 48 hours) and stick the label in the box and take it to the company that was selected for shipping. If you selected UPS, you have to take it to a UPS center for shipping.

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. With accessory repairs, they do not send a shipping label. They are self shipping. Only controllers that do get a shipping label are elite controllers and design lab controllers. Hope this answers your

    When I began this journey, the rep who initiated my advanced exchanged advised me the return label would be in the box. The subsequent people I spoke with were confused why one wasn't included...1 of the reps actually had me go to the box the new device came
    in, and said the shipping label should be on the box. Yeah! The shipping label to get the device to me. Comeon!

    As mentioned at the bottom of my initial post, by accounts/devices section doesn't offer me an option that fits. If I try to start a whole new one, I can't choose anything other than "Accessory" ie. Kinect, controller, etc. Not what I need.

    Bought a elite controller series 2 in the UK, found out it had unresponsive A / B buttons, need support in Germany

    Greetings from Germany, and since I had a similar problem as you (sticky and unresponsive B button), I can describe you how I did it.

    Unfortunately, Microsoft hasn't blessed Germany with any physical stores yet. So there is no option to walk into a store and trade it in.

    And I understand you don't trust the German post service. But Microsoft doesn't either. They use UPS for their shipping needs.

    So to get a replacement for your controller, you have to do it online:

    Go to
    https://devicesupport.microsoft.com
    and sign in with your Microsoft Account. I don't know how physical Microsoft Stores handle the registering of your device, but I bought mine through the Microsoft Web-Store, and the Elite 2 Controller directly showed up
    in my list of devices.

    If it doesn't, select your Xbox console (if necessary, register that first on that page), and create an online service request. Choose that you have trouble with an accessory with that console, and in the second drop down menu choose the Elite 2 controller.

    Follow the instructions, and you will get a UPS Shipping label with instructions sent to your Microsoft Account email.

    Print the Shipping label and remove all parts of the Elite Controller (i.e. remove the paddles, the D-Pad and the sticks). Pack the controller safely into a box and attach the UPS shipping label. Contact UPS either online or through the toll free number
    to schedule a pickup.

    A few days later, you'll then have your new (hopefully working) controller. And since it's shipped via UPS, the package is traceable and insured. So if it gets lost, you'll simply get another controller on UPS's costs.
