how do I get my package? It was not delivered and there is no picture of it on my porch,...

I have all my packages delivered to my work. That isn't going to save me from the drivers taking anything, but the packages never get left on a porch. Seems like it used to be more strict than that, like you had to make a point to be home or you wouldn't
get it.

Once it leaves MS's facility it's really not their problem. Shipping has always had it's risks.

They didn't knock at my door when my One was delivered, and I watched them. I had just got out of the shower, with nothing but a towel on, and looked out my window as I heard the truck pull up. It was a two man team, one walked up, placed it on my porch,
turned and left, never stepping on my porch (as the other driver turned the truck around, I live on a short dead end street). A lot of my smaller packages when delivered are just in my mail box, and I have been home a few times where they never knocked, I
usually just heard a noise on my porch, and look out as they are leaving my yard. They typically won't knock unless you have a signature required, which in most cases, is not required. I have a my UPS account that allows me to schedule a 2 hour window, or
re-route (if caught early enough). If you get a lot of stuff delivered thru UPS, it's worth signing up for. I don't remember, but I think you can also tag a package as being required to be signed for, but not fully sure (don't have any packages on the way
to try and see if it's an option).

how do you know they did not knock or ring the doorbell if you were not home? you said you found it under the porch railing when you got home ... :/

My X! was scheduled to be delivered at the end of the day 11/22. The attempt was made at 10:45AM, when my home was empty. The second attempt was scheduled for between 10:30AM & 2PM today, 11/25. I took off from work and the package was delivered...at 5:40PM.
Both times, it was my regular UPS guy. He told me it was his decision to get a signature as he knew it was the Xbox and didn't want to leave it on our porch. So, now I have it but will have no time till Thursday to see if the thing works well or has the noisy
disk drive, but it's finally here! Day Four edition!

The only question i have is do you have to sign for the package? My wife and I are going to see an off Broadway show tomorrow night and i won't be home if the package is delivered after 5 o'clock (my UPS guy usually delivers by 7 o'clock for non next day
air shipments).

If the package isn't left at my doorstep, then i won't be able to get it until Monday, which will *** me off greatly.
