    Hey there, I really need help. I am a You tuber who has all social media and accounts set with my YouTube name, so it is easy to find me which is . Back in 2016 I mentioned in a video I might get an xbox but never thought about it. Its not until
    I get an xbox to make an account to find out someone took my name . Which I find out later it was a viewer taking it so I couldn't. This really annoyed me at the time but its now time to get it back. I was wondering how can I speak to someone or how
    do I get the name back. I will do everything in my power to get this back! If nothing can be done Playstation might be the next thing but i do not want that.

    You can't get it from someone unless they were willing to give it up and there's usually more issues that go with that.

    You can always reach out to the person who has the gamertag and ask him. Just explain who you are and why you are interested in that name. My mom said "A close mouth never gets fed"

    Support can do nothing. That name is not "Owned" by you. If the account is unused for a certain amount of time it will be usable later on *after 5 years of non use* Asking them to change might also work.
