How do I get my kinects camera and mic to work with Twitch?

The only streaming services on the Xbox is Mixer and Twitch but the Twitch app is only limited to using the Kinect as a webcam and mic because Twitch hasn't seemed to update the app.

On Mixer you can connect a webcam through USB and the Camera option will be selectable in the "Broadcast & capture" tab in the menu found under Advanced Settings. As far as the Microphone goes, I think it should work and be detected as you say that it works
for party chats and most streamers use their headset mic's but give it a try in the advanced settings on Mixer and let us know if it works.

Deac.. I am sure it is.. if you have Kinect for voice set in Twitch app.. it will only use the kinect for the streaming... not for game.. BUT if you have the mic plugged in.. it will work like it normally does... I am sure i was streaming once and in a
party... talking to my buddies...

The chat mic and twitch voice work independently of each other...

I could be wrong.. but I am sure i did it this way and that is how I read it was...

Hi XBF, so I definitely need a webcam ?. I can't use my my windows surface pro for this right ?. If I can't then I'll buy one with a mic and let the community know if it works. Thanks for your reply 😊✌

changed everything according to twitch setup but again suddenly telling me the above

i have one question when it was working can anyone hear me chatting through my mic headset?or do you need kinect for that

It is. To stream on Xbox one to twitch simply launch the Twitch app or install it first then sign in then head over to broadcast, the app should snap over to the right side of your screen then you can set it up from there. For the kinect depending on what
you mean by "add video" it's basically a camera and a mic you can add yourself to your Upload studio projects and Skype.
