how do i get my gamepass ultimate to sync to pc?

i recently go gamepass ultimate as a gift and for someone reason it wont work on pc despite saying it does when i check its buy page on the gamepass store

Kindly check if your subscription is active there. If it's active there, try installing the game from Game pass using the Microsoft Store app and see if it works.

gamepass on PC is just that gamepass, there is no ultimate on pc, if you have ultimate on xbox then you get gamepass on pc.

Skepticality

With gamepass you get a library of games but with gamepass ultimate you get the games, xbox live gold and access to gamepass for the pc.

so personally I use ultimate because I use ot on my xbox and pc, so it’s entirely your preference

I have 3 months of gamepass Core, can i get them upgraded to gamepass ultimate? I am not able to use my gamepass core on PC?

You will get 2 months of Ultimate. I'm not sure about the PC part, though.

If you bought the Gamepass for PC and don't have an Xbox then getting Ultimate Gamepass is pointless. It would upgrade your subscription from Gamepass for PC to Ultimate Gamepass
