How do i get my game back? & understand the new gold for gold.

360 games can be played with or without gold. One games require that you have a gold subscription in order to keep playing them for free.

As far as the other game, if it's a backwards compatible game, it should be in your ready to install section of your games and apps.

As long as your console is set as your home console,which it should be by default,then you can share gold.

The code that came with the console is just a trial which only give limited access to some xbox live gold features.

Several games will not let you play online with just a trial,you would need a full gold subscription for that.

Another thing to remember is that Battlefront 2 is an E.A. published game & you need to be 13 years old or over to play E.A. games online.

Since your gamertag shows as Free here on the forums, I think the problem is that you aren't Gold at all. The 30 day Gold trial offered to new gamertags created on a console is a true Gold membership and shows as such on the forums; since your gamertag
shows as Free, you didn't get the Gold trial. (In contrast, the 48 hour Trial codes included in some games offer certain online multiplayer features but do
not show the gamertag as Gold.)

Since you've got played games going back years, I think you've misunderstood the 30 day Gold trial. It is only offered to new gamertags created on a console (up to three new GTs). If you download your old gamertag to the new console, you do not get another
Gold trial.
