fifa 16 ultimate team

i got a xbox one for xmas (from a 360). my fifa 16 is asking for a 6 digit code it has sent to a mobile tel number i no longer have. the back up code from ea games is not being recognised either. ive requested a callback from ea games which hasnt happened.
any idea how i can change the old mobile number as i cannot find reference to it anywhere and my microsoft account is showing the correct number

It would, I think, be emailed to you unless you've setup an authenticator application on your phone in which case that may be what is being referred to here.

You should be able to unlink your Xbox account from your EA account by signing into your EA Account and under your profile info you should see all the linked profiles.

I can't get into my EA account anymore though. So is there a way I can do this from my Xbox account?

Yeah, both are same in the same network, and I have used that method to add my Xbox to the app, but, the moment to use it to install games, and other functions of the app, it asks me for the 6 digit or 10 digit code.

There's no way to get past it other than put the code on it.

So what do I do?

We understand the importance of unlinking your EA account to your Xbox account so that you can have it linked with your working Xbox account. Just to set the appropriate expectations, for the privacy and security of the account, we do not have an option or a tool to process the unlinking of accounts here in the Community Forums. Also, Microsoft support can't unlink your EA account from Xbox because it's a third-party account. Unlinking accounts can only be accessed if we, the account owner have access with it, I believe there are options for us to choose from if only you have access to that EA account.

To unlink your EA account from Xbox, the only option we can do better is to have you contact EA support again. They'll be able to help you with the process and help you secure your account.
