    How do I get game audio through my headset?


    I have recently gotten an Xbox One S and I don't understand why my game audio only comes from my TV instead of my headset, I've checked all the settings but there seems to be nothing there that allows audio through my headset. Help would be appreciated as it it extremely annoying and I can't use the spotify app on my Xbox because of it.

    I would like help with this same issue as well! when i plug in my headphones to the controller i hear the static of the headset being on but i can’t hear any audio from the xbox at all!

    I'm using a 3.5 MM Jack, but when my friend gave me this controller he did say there was a problem with the mic jack, so that might be why, thanks mate!

    What exactly is your headset model? How did you connect? via wired on 3.5 mm jack or wireless?

    To further isolate the issue, try a different controller or headset. It's possible that one of these two has the problem.

    With HDMI I don't know of any way to do that. I have my headset connected directly to the audio out on my TV.
