How do I get coop to work in Halo CE for master chief collection

I was playing halo master chief collection with a friend and wanted to play the coop of halo combat evolved. But whenever we would start loading in the party leader would disconnect. The weird thing is this only happens in Halo CE we tried Halo 2 and Halo reach and they both worked just fine. I really want to be able to play halo CE coop

Halo Reach is not on the Master Chief Collection disc, only the Halo CE, 2, 3 & 4 are. If you want to play Halo reach, then you can purchase the dlc for the Master Chief Collection or download the Backward Compatible version.

This is on my xbox one, for halo reach, halo ce: master chief collection and Star Wars battlefront

Im sorry I made a bit of a mistake by not mentioning that both me and my friend are running the game on windows 10 pcs so I cant really follow these steps. I would greatly appreciate if you could help me by giving me the pc version of this.

I can see that you are having trouble playing Halo CE coop with your friend. This is a known issue that affects some players and we are working on a fix. In the meantime, here are some steps you can try to resolve the problem:

- Make sure both of you have the latest game update installed. You can check for updates by going to My games & apps > Manage > Updates on your Xbox console.

- Clear your local saved games cache. To do this, go to Settings > System > Storage > Clear local saved games. This will not delete any of your game progress, but it may help with loading issues.

- Restart your console and router. Sometimes a simple power cycle can fix network problems. To restart your console, press and hold the Xbox button on your controller and select Restart console. To restart your router, unplug it from the power source for 10 seconds and plug it back in.

- Try using a wired connection instead of wireless. A wired connection can provide a more stable and faster connection than wireless. To use a wired connection, connect an Ethernet cable from your router to your console.
