How do i get a rambumly generaed password for when my password to long for the 360

check how long your password is because the Xbox 360 has a limit of 16 characters for passwords.

to make a long story short,when i wanted to log into x box live it asked for password so i put it in it didnt work so i went on my laptop to change my password,now my question is what to do when you out youre password in and the text says if this is a valid
account mail we wil send you the code,and it is the correct password but i somehow dont get the code to change my password.

so anny suggestions?

does this mean I cannot use both consoles? I was able to for a long time. The current issue started when it was time to change my password. Now I cannot log on the 360 with my new password.
