how do I fix Xbox Game bar from saying We can't record right now try again later

Have you tried changing the hotkey for recording?

• Press Windows key + S, type Xbox, and click on it. When Xbox launches.
• Select Settings -> Game DVR tab. Now you should set your own shortcut for to Start/Stop recording (e.g. Ctrl + P or any other combination that comes to your mind).
• Then click Save, close the Xbox settings and try the new shortcut

Mine is doing the same thing. It says "Hi !" and gets about 20% of the way through downloading on the bar, then says "Sorry, Xbox LIVE profiles can't be downloaded right now. Try again later.
