    How do I fix this?


    I'm trying to start Minecraft and I repeatedly keep receiving a popup that reads

    "Gaming Service is not Running

    Please try to start the sercice manually in Services Manager. If you cannot start the service, please open Settings app, find GamingServices package in Apps list and select Repair option. If it still doesn't fix the problem, please go to Microsoft Store and update the package."

    When I went to the store to update the package, there was nothing there, so I went online and found a method here (entering get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers, then going on to execute start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN into terminal) which didn't work. I've repaired the app multiple times and restarted my computer countless times and I haven't had much success.

    Any suggestions?

    That is most likely due to Activision shutting down all media uploads due to all the mod infections that are on black ops 2

    Please check our

    Xbox Live Status.     Currently there is a known issue for Signing in; creating, managing, or recovering an account. On the site, please click Notify Me when signed into the account and it will ask for a 10 digit phone number. It will announce
    when the service is back up and running.
