How do I fix the visual glitches while playing games on cloud gaming?

I’ve been using cloud gaming to play games with my friends but there are visual glitches such as delay and colourful lines going down the screen. I asked my friend who also uses cloud gaming a lot (he’s also on old gen) and he said that it runs smoothly for him. I thought maybe it could also be my internet connection but when I’ve checked it said that the connection is fine. Not sure what else to blame it on at this point…
