  1. How do I fix the Minecraft skins problem?

I checked multiple times all the skins that I downloaded and made one of them personally. All 64x64 but all of them were titled as "not Minecraft skins". Even tho one of them did work the second time I tried to change into it, it gave the same answer. Even tho it did work perfectly fine not long ago. I tried to check it in my brothers phone too and he had the same problem, how do I fix it? I tried everything at this point and still no results. I redownloaded the game too to see if it was just a bug but the problem was still there.

    :)

How do I solve the “Fix This” problem on Minecraft?

Hi Jack, my name is Rodrigo. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

Game Pass Console does not offer online multiplayer, you either need Game Pass Core or Game Pass Ultimate.

Hi and thanks for reaching out. I hope you’re doing well. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you and I'll be happy to help you.

Even if you have disabled trusted skins and updated your game, there are a few reasons why your Minecraft skin could not be shown on a multiplayer server. The following are some potential causes and remedies:

    1. It's possible that the server you are on is configured to show everyone the default Steve skin because some multiplayer servers have special settings that override the skins of all players. Unfortunately, the only thing you can do to modify this is to switch to a server that supports custom skins.

    2. Skin caching: Since your computer may occasionally have an outdated copy of your skin, it's conceivable that this is the root of the problem. You might try emptying the cache for your Minecraft skins to fix this. To achieve this, open the Minecraft launcher, click on "Launch Settings," choose the profile you're using, and then click on "Additional Options." In the "JVM Arguments" text box, enter the string "-Dminecraft.skinServer="https://skins.minecraft.net"; to customize the game's appearance. After making adjustments, start Minecraft. This should require the game to re-download your skin from the server and remove the skin cache.

    3. Make sure your skin file is in the right format by checking it. The picture size for Minecraft skins must be precisely 64x64 pixels and must be in the PNG file format. Your skin might not be recognized by the server if it is not in this format.

    4. Internet access: If your internet connection is unreliable or slow, the server could be unable to fully load your skin, which could result in it appearing as the standard Steve skin. By joining a quicker or more reliable network, try to improve your internet connection.

I hope this helps you fix the problem so that your skin displays correctly in multiplayer servers.

How do I fix this problem?

Hi there! I'll do my best to help.

Where exactly did you try to purchase the game from? On the console, Microsoft Store online (internet browser), or Minecraft website?
Aren't you part of a Microsoft Family? Kindly check it via https://family.microsoft.com/

    - I would suggest that you try to purchase it using a different device.
    - Make sure as well to update your billing information through https://account.microsoft.com > Payment & billing > Address book.
    - If you haven't added a credit/debit card yet on your account, try adding one first then repurchase the game using your Microsoft balance.

    Best regards,
