    How do I fix the error code 0x87e0000f, in 2022?


    No matter what I did, I couldn't figure out why the game stopped after a specific amount has been downloaded!

    I've done all the trouble shooting steps posted on the internet I could find, from checking statuses to resetting my entire console.

    Thankfully I was able to get in contact with Sandy over at Xbox support and she was able to assist me in finding the solution.

    It was my NAT Type. Apparently your NAT Type needs to be OPEN for whatever reason..

    The first thing we tried was,

    1. Go to Settings

    2. Go to Network Settings

    3. Advanced Settings

    4. DNS Settings

    5. Manual

    6. Primary IPv4 DNS: 8.8.8.8

    (one number per box)

    7. Secondary IPv4 DNS: 8.8.4.4

    (one number per box)

    8. Check NAT Type

    If that didn't work, which it didn't for me, this next one should work for sure.

    The second thing we tried was,

    1. Go to Settings

    2. Go to Network Settings

    3. Advanced Settings

    4. Alternate Port Selection

    5. Manual

    6. Select any other port than the one you are using. (Doesn't matter which)

    7. Continue

    8. Test NAT Type
