    How do I fix the entry point not found error?


    So, I recently installed Steam so I could make mods for Skyrim. Anyways I install creation kit and I get an error message that says, 'The procedure entry point SteamApps could not be located in the dynamic link library, etc.' I have tried everything, I think. I've downloaded and installed Visual C++, I've done the 'sfc /scannow', I have moved creation kit to a different folder and then uninstalled steam and downloaded it again. I also installed steam in a different folder and that didn't work. Does anyone have any other methods I could try.

    I fixed it, I'll say what I did, in case someone with the same problem finds this post. I downloaded the Media Feature Pack for windows, but it has to be for the exact version of windows running on the pc (you can see it on right click start button - system),
    download it from microsoft.com.

    Uninstall the game and try re-installing.

    You might also have better luck in the Steam forums or support!

    This forums are only for Xbox Live Services (Windows 10 and Xbox Console). That is related to a Steam issue, so you need to reach out the Steam Support or Specific Game in Steam Forums.
