  1. How do I fix not being able to hear character voicelines in games?

I recently started playing Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint and noticed I was unable to hear voicelines entirely or they sounded like they were speaking from 50 meters away when the character was right in front of me. I deleted the sound data and validated the game files to make sure it wasn't a corrupt audio file yet that didn't work.

Today I went to play Just Cause 4 and ran into the exact same issue. It's a lot more prevalent in cutscenes as that's usually when I can't hear anything from the characters.

I haven't experienced this before switching PCs and it isn't occurring to any other form of sound, just character voicelines.

Has anyone else experienced this and if so, what did you do to fix it.

    :)
