    How do I fix my Xbox controller on NBA 2k23


    Recently I bought NBA 2K23, and when I first logged into the game, I realized my button mapping was wrong. My controller, as well as other controllers, work just fine on other games. For example, I cannot use my joy sticks at all in 2k23. Additionally, when I click B, it acts as if I pressed A. And when I click X, it acts as if I clicked B. This is both in-game and at the main menu.

    My name is welcome to the community and Happy New Year.

    Hello Eli, if you are playing in a new generation console, like Series S/X is try to remove games from quick resume, because when you will start some game that is very heavy in matter of memory for the console.

    And finally try to do a reset on the console while keeping games and Apps.

    The first is a clear cache

    1. Go to the Xbox press and hold the XBOX power button on the console for 10 seconds until it turns off

    2. Wait 10 seconds until it turns off

    3. Wait 1 minute with it off

    4. Turn it back on

    You may need to try an update the controller to fix it, please follow the steps below:

    "1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, select Profile & system > Settings > Devices & streaming > Accessories, and then select the controller you want to update.

    2. On the Xbox Wireless Controller screen, select “…” to check the firmware version for your controller.

    3. If it says “Update,” select Firmware version, and then follow the steps provided."

    After this try to see if your controller back`s to normal.
