    how do I fix my Minecraft since the merge


    i own minecraft on my microsoft account and is playable on my xbox and says i own it on PC and i have it installed but when i launch it, it only says to play the demo or buy the game again. I used to play it very often on PC but when they merged the different versions it made it so i can no longer play the game without buying it again. Is there a way to fix it or any help with the issue? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, using different accounts on both xbox and PC, restarting my PC, factory resetting my PC, and contacting support and nothing has worked.

    The download worked but then it now says "incompatible with launcher" for windows and then still says "play demo" for Java edition.

    Since we have tried all the possible steps here to sort out the issue. There seems to be an issue with the game only. Would it be fine if you can try contacting Mojang support for further advice? You will need to report the bug to them so that they can provide a fix for it. You can contact them using this link, https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us
