How do I fix my left analogue stick on my Xbox One Controller?

I am currently having a problem with the left analogue stick on my controller. It doesn't stick or drift or anything like that. It just has a very tough time moving up and a slight problem moving down. The stick itself moves very well, but it isn't registering
well at all. I've taken the controller apart and cleaned the inside of it, a well as blowing it off with an air compressor, but the problem still continues. Weirdly enough, the ONLY time it works perfectly is when the faceplate has been removed and it has
full range of motion. I've never seen anything like this before, and I've never tampered with the faceplate or analogue stick before until now, so I really have no idea what's causing the problem. I've only had it for about four months, and it's never been
thrown, stepped on, etc. It just seemed to randomly happen one day has gotten worse ever since. I really don't want to have to play with the faceplate off since the controller would be exposed and probably easily ruined.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Xbox One control Drifting up

After doing an update on my xbox one wireless controller, which was necessary so that I couldon't use my new headset, the left analogue stick is drifting up which has made it almost impossible to play any games. How can I fix this issue or get a replacement
controller.

And I don't even play that much??

Left analogue stick seriously needs to be re looked at.

 

When a controller starts acting up if it is completely upgraded and out of warranty it is best just to replace it.
