How do I fix my issue for the xbox wireless headset?

Kindly try to do these steps and check if it will fix the issue.

1. Turn on the headset.

2. Plug the USB into both the headset and console.

3. Press and hold the power and mute buttons. You’ll hear a throb sound; keep holding, and you’ll hear it again, then continue holding until the headset powers off.

4. Turn the headset back on while still connected via USB.

5. Wait for the headset to connect to the console, at which point you’ll have sound! Then unplug it and allow it to reconnect, and everything should be good to go.

After doing an update on my xbox one wireless controller, which was necessary so that I couldon't use my new headset, the left analogue stick is drifting up which has made it almost impossible to play any games. How can I fix this issue or get a replacement
controller.

I have tried a service request online and the reply was as follows “There is NO service options available.For further assistance contact is”. A bit ridiculous that the is no after service for such a “high end product”.



Please advise.
