How do i fix Minecraft connection time out on console

For the past few days I have been trying to join a friends server but every time I try this message pops up. I realy need help.

Also, what console do you have?

1. Can other people join your friend's server?

2. Can you join other servers?

I have been having this exact same problem with my friends world on PlayStation, every time I try and join it says connection timed out, my friend and I have both uninstalled our games and re installed them but still nothing works.

Also our friends that are not on PlayStation can join perfectly fine

Nilay here and I'm glad to answer your query today.

The easiest solution is to reinstall Minecraft, but if this doesn't do the trick, you can reset the Microsoft Store. Press the “Windows key + R” combination. Type “WSReset” in the “Open:” box, then click “OK” or press “Enter.” Reopen the “Minecraft Launcher.”
