How do I fix friends list that is gone?

A few days ago my friends list froze so I looked up how to fix it and was told to reset my console, I did and then my friends list was gone. I then reset it again and got the same results. I also reset my modem and router, that also didn't work. I asked my friends if they are having the same issue and they aren't. (I play on an Xbox series x)

Can you please confirm that you’re signed in under the correct account? Please sign in to https://account.xbox.com/profile and check your friend list from there and make sure that you’re signed in on the Xbox Series X under the correct account.

The problem is only on my Xbox. I recently added a friend and today realized that the friends list was frozen again and that I could only see if they were on or not is by clicking onto their profile. Also I am signed into the correct account.

And in the part of "Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 devices Online Safety" set all features related to multiplayer, communication and friendship to "Allow".

In the "Privacy" section put everything for everyone, except for the personal data options, that's up to you.

Then go to your network settings and in advanced options change the DNS to primary 8.8.8.8 and secondary 8.8.4.4

Try to perform a cache clear with the following steps.

1. Press and hold the Power button on the front of your Xbox One until the console turns off.

2. Unplug the power cord from the back of your Xbox One.

3. Wait a minute, and then plug the power cord back in.

4. Press the Power button on your Xbox One to turn it back on.

5. Your cache should be clear at this point.

Are you in the Preview programme? I saw a recent screenshot where Friends is now off the right of the screen, and also has a text navigation link towards the top of the screen. (Pins - Home - Friends - Store)

same problem here. Microsoft this is terrible service! don't know how it happened but please fix it as soon as possible. I also recommend you think of some way to apologize to al the "PAYING" xbox live customers the playstation network is free for heavens
sake!!!!! There i was all excited to play a good clan match been waiting for weeks to play and what do i find? My friend list gets erased. Sort it out quickly this is not what I am paying for!!!!! It sure as hell better be fixed by tomorrow.
