How do I fix error 0x80070570

I've been trying to play call of duty modern warfare 2 for a while now because it had an update,.But when I try to update it it says "The item you're trying to use appears to be corrupt. Try uninstalling and reinstalling it. (0x80070570)" I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing worked. I don't know how to fix it.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

I have here steps that we can try, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

"1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. "

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

"Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps."

If that still didn't work, do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console?

With all that being said I really hope it helped some of you..as for me NO it did not..I don't have an Xbox. I'm transferring files from from one slave hard drive to a jump drive so as to take some files with me. So I cant power on and off nor clear its cache. what should I try ??

The Xbox Error 0x80070570 is a data transfer error that mostly occurs when you transfer some of your internal data to an external drive but it can happen at other times also.

To fix this problem, you can try the following solutions:
Clear your console's system cache.
• Clear your console's system cache.
• Check if the Xbox Live service is temporarily unavailable.
• Check if there is a problem with your profile.
• Check if there is a problem with the hard drive to which you're trying to download content.
• Force a reset on the console.
• Power cycle the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down. Then unplug it for 30 seconds.
• Set up a repair of the console if none of the above solutions work.
