How do i fix disconnected from host when i try to play dead by daylight on the xbox app for pc

Where you able to fix it I’m having the same issue , I repair game files I uninstall and reinstall it and nothing , I’m doing a full reset on my pc hoping it will fix it but if you found a solution let me kno pls

no i havent and ive tried everything i even went to windows 10 from 11

From the description you have provided it seems you are unable to Dead by Daylight due a "disconnected from host" error when playing the game using the Xbox app for Windows.

This issue may have been caused by settings in Windows or the Xbox app that need to be changed. Or it may also be a problem with the game's

servers and thus there might be need to contact the developer Behaviour Interactive. Also, we tend to deal with these issues on a case-by-case basis and that's why your comment has been split from Esper's thread into your own thread.

So let us work together as a team to get to the bottom of this. But to better assist you I need to ask:



1) When are you getting this "disconnected from host" error? When launching the game? In the middle of a match? Something else?



2) Are you having this issue when playing the game in your Xbox console too?

3) Any other game you play through the Xbox app or console has this issue?



4) What version of Windows are you using? We specifically need the edition and version number of Windows your device is running. To find out which version of Windows your device is running, press the Windows logo key + R, type winver in the Open box, and then select OK. You'll get the window below and we need the information highlighted in red.





5) Can you provide us a photo of your System Information window similar to the sample below? To get to this window please type msinfo32 in the Search box. Right-click System Information in the search results and select Run as administrator.

i just tried to play among us and that works fine also i can run dead by daylight but when i get into a lobby i get disconnected from host and no changes have been made on my pc besides resetting it completely after the issue already happened and no changes have been made to my internet i was able to play dbd one night then the next day it stopped working and there is no error code besides disconnected from host
