How do i fix "cannot connect to host" in astroneer

whenever i try join or invite a friend in games were 1 person hosts a server it will say something like "cannot connect to host" and this is really annoying, i saw someone else have this problem and they had to disable their routers UPnP setting anbd i was wondering if there was a wya to fix this without changing my router settings because whenever i do anything to the router my parents get pissed at me becsause they act like im going to break it.

But there are steps that will really require you to change some things on your router settings because this is what's blocking you from connecting properly with Xbox Live most especially when your NAT type is not open.

im trying to play astroneer on xbox with my friend but It gives cant connect to host error in windows 10 you fix it by using the xbox networking tab but there isnt a article that helps about in windows 11

Can you and your friend try to close and re-open the NAT ports in the router?

Let me give you the ports:

Port 88 (UDP)
Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
Port 80 (TCP)
Port 500 (UDP)
Port 3544 (UDP)
Port 4500 (UDP)

Make sure to contact your Internet Service Provider for this.
