    How do I fix Black Ops 6 so that it works after I login? It stops registering my Xbox...


    I’m trying to play Black Ops 6 on my Xbox One S with a wired elite controller. After getting past the sign in page, I get to the main screen but when there’s a pop screen for future changes to the game, the game stops recognizing my controller. It’s not frozen because I can join my friend’s lobby but I still can’t navigate anything on the screen because my controller stops working. The game stops registering my Xbox buttons. The only button that works is my home button. I have tried the following:

    1. Quitting game and waiting a couple of minutes before rebooting.
    2. Restarting Xbox.
    3. Unplugging Xbox to delete cache.
    4. Making sure game is updated.
    5. Making sure Xbox controller is updated.
    6. Reinstalling the game.

    Please help!

    this kind of happend to me i was playing black ops one day the next day i went to play it and there was a crack on it after a little while of playing it and stopped working but i doubt i could get a refund or anything like that i broke the disk into 6 pieces

    I understand how frustrating this issue can be. Especially since you just spent that money on the game. I'd like to help you find a solution.

    Can you attach an image of the DirectX error message?

    Does Battle.net crash when you try to launch the game or does it just crash before you even get that far?
