    How do I fix 100% packet loss errors Xbox Series S?


    I have an Xbox One and and Xbox Series S, both of which are receiving 100% packet loss errors that started today. I can't play any games because of this.

    So far I have tried:

    - Hard resetting my router

    - Power cycling my router, modem, and both Xbox devices

    - Going offline and resetting both Xbox devices

    - Changing my router to AP from Router settings

    - Using both hardwired and wireless connections, still 100% packet loss

    - Switching my router from IPV4 to IPV6

    I have a Nighthawk R7000 router and fiber optic internet.

    Xbox Series S Network Tests:

    Download: 206.29 Mbps

    Upload: 111.28 Mbps

    Packet Loss: 100%

    MTU: 1480

    Latency: 34 ms

    Wireless Strength: 100%

    Xbox One Network Tests:

    Download: 255.35 Mbps

    Upload: 182.04 Mbps

    Packet Loss: 100%

    MTU: 1480

    Latency: 36 ms

    Wireless Strength: 100%

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Update: I was able to manually configure the following ports and get the Xbox One to work, but I could not do the port forwarding to the Xbox Series S also because I could not forward the same port to both devices. I would like to be able to use both devices at the same time, so hopefully there is another solution.

    Port 88 (UDP)

    Port 3074 (UDP/TCP)

    Port 53 (UDP/TCP)

    Port 80 (TCP)

    Port 500 (UDP)

    Port 3544 (UDP)

    Port 4500 (UDP)

    Well, manually changing the DNS settings and getting an alternate MAC address still has my Series S saying that it has 100% packet loss, but I can still play games, so I guess that's good enough. If there are any suggestions on how to eliminate the packet loss error I would be happy to try them out. Thanks.

    Alternatively, could you try to directly connect your consoles to your modem not on your router if you have one? Might as well try to connect your consoles to your mobile data hotspot to further isolate the issue.

    I see. I believe it has something to do with your network connection. Trying a different connection type or ISP and router may isolate the issue we're experiencing. For your console, if you believe it is an error from its system, we could perform a factory reset. There's an option to keep your games and apps.     Hello, I tried the following from that post: "Settings > Network > Network Settings > Forget Wireless Network - Go to Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear > let the Xbox Restart - Try and reconnect to your wireless network again Try your network test again." and it seemed to work. I can play games now, but it is still registering as 100% packet loss.

    I am going to continue with the manual DNS settings to see if that improves things.
