    How do I find out which account my son's XBox Live subscription is tied to??


    I want to cancel an ongoing XBox Live subscription because my son was given a year long subscription for Christmas. However, try as I might I cannot find the subscription online to cancel it. The reminder email (to tell me that the 3 month renewal is going
    to be taken) comes to my email address, but when I sign in to Microsoft with this email address, the subscription is not there. I've signed in as my husband too, and the subscription is not in his account either. So where is it and how can I find it? We must
    have set up another account somehow, somewhere, but nobody knows what it is or how to access it. Help!

    How to transfer xbox live gold subscriptions between family members?

    It seems when I subscribed to Xbox Live Gold, I did so under my account, rather than my son's which is what I wanted (I didn't realize at the time that a subscription only applies to one account, not the actual xbox).

    Is there a way to transfer my subscription from my account to my son's? Or do I need to cancel my membership and start a new subscription under my Son's account?

    I am a parent, and my son has his child's account linked to my adult account. We have one GOLD subscription to xbox livem which is on my son's account.

    I tried to download Netflix using my son's account, but was told I needed to use an adult account. I then tried with my adult account, and was told that I needed and Xbox live subscription. I cannot promote my son's account to an adult, nor can I transfer
    the xbox live subscription to my account.

    Could someone please tell me what kind of crap this is that I cannot download netflix even though i am clearly over 18, and paying for xbox live, and what i could do about it?

    I would contact support and give them the Gamertag in question. After answering security questions they will be able to get this all resolved. 800) 469-9269 US & CANADA or chat with them here.

    About to throw Xbox out the window

    so that you can find out exactly which subscription is tied to each account, go to https://account.microsoft.com/services/ and sign in with each account.

    this should show your account as having Game Pass Ultimate and nothing else.

    your son's accounts should have no subscriptions active (if I am understanding how you intended to set things up).

    check that to confirm that the subscriptions were purchased on the correct account.

    I don't think it will allow your son to use it -- the Elite membership is like a subscription to Xbox Live -- it's only good for the person that signs up. It's different than most downloadable content, which is usable by anyone tied to your Xbox.

    Unfortunately, I think you need 2 subscriptions to both get Elite -- one tied to your account, and one tied to his. Oops, and I'm logged into my son's account writing this -- we're having similar issues! Very frustrating, after the money we spent for this.

    I am in the UK using a UK account but somehow I have a xbox live subscription tied to a US account.

    I do not know how that happened but it has and I am having trouble finding a solution .
