How do I find out what was done to resolve my xbox's issue while being serviced?

Howdy everyone,

So recently I sent in my xbox to be repaired, and after a little bit of time, I received it back fixed. While I'm happy about that, I haven't received anything stating what was done to resolve the issue.

I've contacted support via chat, and they cannot help and pointed me here.

How do I find out how they repaired my system. I'd like to know because if it was something I did, I'd like to know, so I don't make the same mistake(s).

Who do I talk to or where should I go to find out more information? Currently the service page show no helpful information.

@OP, what you should do is call support and find out what that particular error code means and what has to be done to resolve the issue.

cant sign in to xbox live

Its a live problem being looked into

WHATEVER you DO, DO NOT do what my mate has done and do a factory reset on the console to then find out its a Live issue

I doubt you would ever get that sort of info mate, As long as its fixed and your happy with it, Just do what it says in any instructions and it wont be your fault good luck.

Typically this information isn't available. Most cases, if it was something user error, they would have charged you for the repair as it wouldn't have been under warranty.

Hey there NoahFox1,

It could be due to a couple of different factors.

What I would do is follow the steps on our support page entitled Troubleshoot Xbox prepaid code issues and see if any of those troubleshooting steps help you out.

I can't find a video on how to get the steps done, but the support page should help you out.

Give the information there a look through and let us know how that helped resolve the issue.

i fell what ur saying envy i do. as for the service page there is no update to it the service page identifies with the user when logged in if there is a problem. i keep getting disconnected but when i do the network check everything turns out fine and yest
i have done every step possible too keep from getting disconnected. i feel it is micrsoft themselves and they need to give more information as to what is happening not the usual "we understand there is an issu and are working very hard to resolve the problem"
we are gamers and tech freaks we do want details as to what is being done we are not stupid and we can comprehend what is going on.
