How do I factory-reset a Xbox 360?

I just got a Xbox 360 (newer Jasper model) earlier today, and I want to factory-reset it, as if it just came from a store (so when I turn it on, it would start with the initial setup (I'd imagine new consoles do this)).

How do I do it? I've seen quite a few button combinations to press on the System Info screen, and none I've tried work. There doesn't appear to be a setting anywhere to just factory-reset either.

remember when you do this you need to install all again

try formatting the hard drive via Settings - System - Storage - highlight hard drive and press Y. This will delete everything on that is currently present on the hard drive.

There is also a Initial Setup option in Settings - System, which should initiate the initial start up sequence.

Be aware that a Family pass code will not be reset via these steps, in order to reset that you will need to contact Xbox Support (support.xbox.com/contact-us)
