    Report the message and block communications with this user. They will not be able to message you again once you do this. The enforcement team will deal with this user. Note that you will not be notified if action has been taken.

    I'm sorry to hear you've had a bad experience with another Xbox user.

    I see you already blocked this person, that's good.

    Blocking another player prevents you from receiving that player’s messages, game invites, and party invites. It also prevents the player from seeing your online activity and removes them from your friends list, if they were on it.

    The best thing to do when receiving offensive messages is to report them and wait for Xbox Enforcement to act accordingly. You can do so by pressing the on-screen "Report message" button.

    How to properly deal with player harassment

    Reports don't go unnoticed. That's just your perception. The fact is all reports are looked at and investigated thoroughly. Also keep in mind you would never know what another person received as a suspension since that information is confidential. The
    golden rule is repot, block and move on. Works perfectly for me and most people I know.
