    How do I enable 4K on my Samsung U32J590U?


    I just bought the screen and I'm trying to enable 4K on it. Whenever I do so, it changes to 4K, I can see the resolution get better but after the screen that asks me if I want to keep the resolution it goes back to 1440p. How do I fix this and enable 4K?

    How do I enable 4K on my Samsung U32J590U?

    I believe your monitor has two HDMI ports, but only one of them supports 4K @60Hz.

    Pretty sure 4K 60 is only available on HDMI 2. It's reverting to 1440 because on HDMI 1, 60Hz refresh is only available at 1440P (2560x1440).

    Connect your console to HDMI 2.

    Like above, have you gone into the console settings and checked 4K/HDR is enabled?

    Also check your TV settings. When I recently got my new Samsung I had to go into settings and enable HDR etc

    If you got a Samsung TV you have to manually set the hdmi port to enable the 4k
