How do I download Netflix App Without Xbox LIVE?

Pursuant to the news that I could begin using NetFlix and other apps without having to pay for an Xbox LIVE account as a prerequisite, I cancelled my Xbox LIVE subscription.

Today I tried using NetFlix for the first time since the update, and it would not work (nw-1-19 error). I went to NetFlix support, and it advised that I delete the app and redownload it.

But since I do not have an Xbox LIVE account anymore, I cannot browse the app store. And since I cannot browse the app store, I cannot redownload NetFlix.

I attempted to use the "redownload" option via the Xbox website, to add NetFlix to my download queue, but doing so is not an option.

I must be missing something; they wouldn't tell us "you can use apps without a Xbox LIVE account" but make it impossible to download said apps, right?

I need help loading system files to my Xbox360 with no hard drive..

i have a Xbox 360 without a hard drive... It won't recognize my flash drives except for storage... It won't load the system files needed to use internet explorer.. or Netflix.. the message that appears reads to download the app again ... This is as far as
I can go ... When I download the app again it appears to download to the flash drive but when I click on the app. The same message appears (download the app again) how do I get the Xbox360 to recognize the flash drive and load system files.. ??????

 

Xbox Netflix App

I have an Xbox in the living room and a Roku in the bedroom, both of which stream Netflix. Recently, the Xbox Netflix app changed, so that you cannot select a specific episode of a given TV show without starting the show first. With the Roku, on the other hand, you can select the TV show, then select the specific episode, and then play the show. (This is how the Xbox Netflix app used to be.)

Is there any way to change the Xbox Netflix app back, so that you can select the episode you want to watch before starting the show?

 

I rescind the question. Somehow, in the last 10 minutes, without doing anything, I had no access to apps...and then I had access to apps via my Xbox. An update must have kicked-in...or something.
