How do I download my Xbox 360 profile?

Alright so my hard drive crashed and a E-68 error came up, so I followed some tutorials and got it running again. However my main profile was gone and when I try to download it with my email and password it gives me a 8007045D code saying try again. When
I try to look for my profile there is no Corrupt profiles there, so I can't delete it. It's like my profile never existed on my Xbox, but I can still log on to it on Xbox.com. Any help needed please!

Backward Compatibility

Every month I download 2 free games on Gold to my Xbox one, but, i cannot download the 360 games from Gold into my Xbox one for backward compatibility. How do i activate my Xbox One to start playing backward compatible 360 games.

Do that and try again.

 

I will just add to what Bad has posted with if you can't find the profile on the HDD to delete, just follow the steps to re-download it from Live and you should be ok.

I have already tried to clear the cache and still the same code, how do you go about downloading it from Live?

 

To download profile:

Go to the Social tab on the Dashboard, then down to Sign In & Out, scroll to far right and choose Download Profile.

Then just enter email and password for the account.

 

It gets about 1/4 of the way and says "Sorry, Xbox Live profiles can't be downloaded right now, please try again later. 8007045D" This was happening last night as well so I though maybe I just had to wait, but it still wont let me download my profile today
as well, and I can't delete my profile because it shows as it not being there.

 

What console and/or hard drive do you have?

And did that hard drive come with the console or was it purchased separately?

And do you happen to have a USB flash drive or other external storage that you use with your console?

 

I've been using my original 360 with the small 20GB drive, I've had it since release and never had problems other than a RROD once.

I want to see if removing the hard drive allows you to download the profile without issue, but obviously you still need some storage capacity.

 

Alright sorry for the wait, I configured a 8 GB USB and had to download the Xbox update (Main HD not connected) and I got my profile on the USB, now ill see if I can transfer the profile to my main HD.

 

Hmm seems to not want to go back on the HD, ill figure that out on my own. Anyway I got my profile back thanks a lot Maxen13, very helpful!

 

I don't really know what's going on with the hard drive, it could be related to the E68 you mentioned, but you won't encounter any problems by keeping the profile on that USB stick.
