    How do I downgrade my Xbox Gamebar?


    Hi, I have recently installed the latest xbox gamebar update, and I want to undo it. I have a hard time seeing any items on the home bar, since everything feels too small, even when I am not in compact mode. I also really don't like the new color scheme and I would like to get back the old dark theme, where things were a much darker gray. I also don't like the new rounded edges, since I used to be able to place certain widgets together and they fit together seamlessly, but now I am plagued with all theese holes from the gaps where the corners should meet. I liked how the corners were square, since it reminded me of the nice and familliar feel of windows 10, but now that last bit of comfort has been stripped away from me, leaving me in a hellscape full of round edges and devoid of squares. I used the gamebar daily for clipping games and quick widgets, but now I don't want to and uninstalled this now terrible app.

    If anyone could help me revert this update, I would be indescribably happy.

    There is no way to revert it

    Usually Xbox utilities read your font sizes you have set as your system defaults. Try increasing them or using accessibility features

    This happens to me too with game invites but theres a temporary fix i just reset my pc and i can only accept 1 invite before i have to reset it again. Kinda crazy how this has been happening for months and xbox support just tells me to reinstall gamebar,
    just patch the gamebar how hard is that to do?

    I have the same problem. I would appreciate option to downgrade firmware on PC because I do not own Xbox console, but when I open link using Xbox Accessories app I have no instructions to follow. Only usual screen with my Elite 2 controller loaded.

    i do feel that gamebar is a beta sometimes haha. you can always do everything on your xbox console companion and it will work directly with gamebar aswell.
